The Uptown Music Collective Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization and as such oversees all major concerns pertaining to its operations. The Board is comprised of 11 or more members, two of whom represent the schools teachers, and two of whom are parents of currently enrolled students. Altogether the UMC Board of Directors strives to represent the common interest by having the majority of its members free of any direct relation to the organization.

 

Uptown Music Collective Board of Directors meetings are scheduled every two months and are generally held on the last Thursday of that month.
