Each year the Uptown Music Collective, a nonprofit school of music located at 848 West Fourth Street in Williamsport, presents six large scale performances along with a myriad of smaller appearances throughout the greater Williamsport area. These appearances include city functions, private parties, First Fridays, parades and other events.

The Uptown Music Collective was founded in 2000 and has grown steadily, both in size and in reputation over the last 10 years. The school offers private lessons, workshops and classes to over 120 students each week.

The majority of audience members attend based on the quality of the event –they do not have a student in the show
