The Uptown Music Collective is a customer-based organization. As such the people who deliver the schools services on a daily basis, ie Teachers and volunteers, sit at the top of the organizational chart. They are directly supported by a network of relationships, starting with the Student/Teacher Liaison and ending with the Board of Directors sitting at the bottom, supporting the entire system.

The arrows indicate pathways of support and where applicable, who answers to whom. In many cases, as in other small nonprofit corporations, different positions are held by the same person.
